We set our video but it didn't record for some reason or other. Either a video recording or DVD is acceptable.

didn't even get to watch the match. but if you search for germany sweden on mininova.org (bit torrent, you'll need a client too) you should be able to find a video on the computer for the match. this may take a while to download, but its worth while
to use bit torrent, download a client (i suggest abc, just search for it under yahoo, should be listed as a project in sourceforge) then mininova.org, click on the game you want, when it asks you to save/open, choose open, abc should start, and you choose a location to save.

now i'm as to unsure whether you need codecs, so search for a program called video lan player, download and open the file you get from mininova with that and you'll be able to watch it. its how i watch soccer games that aren't shown in the US :'( only way i get to see liverpool play
