it seems that AOL (America Online) has been STUCK on version 9.0 for years. Anyone know when they will "move on up" to version 10.0 or something besides 9.0 security edition? I used to be a beta tester but now I'm not and don't have aol cause of this. any info would be helpful. thanks!

Normally a program or software does not move up in version because the consumers or users do not have any complaints about their current system. If there is nothing to fix or upgrade, then they will not move up.

Just like IE, many people complained that they wanted a tabbing feature just like Firefox, and IE finally moved up to 7.0. They were at 6.0 for many years, but finally upgraded.

Okay hear me out..I am not being hateful.. AOL really sucks..It is expensive compared to many other high-speed on-line services. Having AOL is like having spy-ware software installed on your computer... The anti-spy-ware software they give you sucks ***... 9 times out of 10 i hear how people get AOL and it works awesome for a week then speed dramatically decreases. They have bigger problems with their service than coming out with another version.
