Recycling means that we can stop using so muchof the earths natural resources like wood for paper, as we can recycle paper that we already have and use it again, hence preventing the use of more trees.
Also, recycling metals like cans and stuff can help the environment as the production of these metals uses a lot of fossil fuels and creates a lot of pollution.
Also, if you just throw away a plastic bag or a bottle instead of reusing it, it will stay on the earth for about 250 years before it starts to degrade, so every plastic bag that was ever made is still on the earth today.. have a think about that!

Did you know that shoe manufacturers produce a LOT of waste? This waste used to get thrown away but now a large portion of it is being recycled into things like High School track surfaces (it is great to run on!) and other rubber type matting.

recycling..... we all learned about recycling...but only some of us give a damn.. u know y? because no one ever understaned or enjoyed our sorrounding.... i.e the beauty of our earth... recycling is the only way to protect and perverse that beauty of earth .. which gave birth to humanity.

yes.. i know one of them.. it is in Chandigarh (India) and it is rock garden .. created by sanitary wastes. it is really remarkable.
