Bangladesh is an Asian country, bordered by India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka. It achieved Independence from Pakistan in 1971. Its capital is Dhaka, which is turning out to be one of the commercial cities of the world. Bangladeshi's sincerely believe in God & they have non-vegetarian food habits.

My childrens' pediatrician is from Bangladesh. I do not have a problem with Bangladeshis. But to be honest, I can't tell you what I think about Bangladesh, because I've never been there and I know very little about it.

Well I have wondered whether Bangladesh associates itself more with India or Pakistan. Honestly, I would not be able to tell the difference between the three. Nor would most people be able to tell if I was Canadian or American.
It is an overpopulated country by all accounts and I believe the majority are Muslim. That's what I know to this point. When I read the other answers, I will learn more. Thanks for the question.

Bangladesh is an underdeveloped nation and is trying gain some economic footing but I'm afraid it isn't succeeding much most of its population is starving and thousands illegally migrate into India in hope of better future.

Hmm tough question as i am not familiar with the region. I, however view it like any other place on earth. People who think one country is better than another are seriously misguided and need to realize their errors.
