The space at the boundaries of our Universe would end some 14 billion light years away at the edge of where the boundaries of our Universe are expanding. If you also include the space that our Universe is expanding into then the space goes on to infinity, which is hard to comprehend.

Nowhere. It's like a 3-dimensional hypersurface of a 4-dimensional hypersphere. Where does the 2-dimentional surfqase of the ball ends? This is the same thing, but with 1 more dimention.
