I understand that if I neglect to log in to my account with yahoo for a certain amount of time it will dissappear. How long is that time?

exact 4 months if u havent log in even for a 4 month
but if u have a same yahoo messenger id then u can log into messenger then from there go to mail they shows a message that ur mail account will suspended do u want to get back it now click yes then ur account will active again(if nobody has take this yahoo mail id) but ur all date will be delete

after i replaced into forced to alter my password approximately month in the past whilst money owed have been hacked I no longer can use yahoo e mail tell me to instruct of safari privateness yet there is no such placing on my I pad or workstation or IPhone 5
