SIMPLE WAY, example: C x 9 divided by 5+32.so say the centigrade is 20,multiply by 9 =180,then divide by 5=36,then add 32=68 fahrenheit.hope this helps you out

Conversion of centigrade to fahrenheit = C x 9/5 + 32 = F.
Conversely fahrenheit to centigrade = F - 32 x 5/9 = C.

Remember the fahrenheit scale runs from 32 (freezing) to .
212 (boiling).

Centigrade runs 0 (freezing) to 100 (boiling).

When dealing with minus temperatures - the calculation is even simpler, you can ignore the 32. as follows.

Centigrade to fahrenheit = C x 9/5 = F.

Fahrenheit to centigrade = F x 5/9 = C

subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit reading, then multiply by 5 and divide by 9 eg boiling point of water= 212 F -32 =180 multiply by 5= 900 then divide by 9 = 100 centigrade or Celsius
simple or buy yourself a thermometer with both F and C scales to convert centigrade to Fahrenheit Divide by 5, multiply by 9 and add 32 easier still

to change centigrade (Celsius) to Fahrenheit multiply by 9 and divide by 5 and add 32
e.g. 20 deg. C = 20x9 =180/5 =36+32=68 deg F

Just remeber that

10 centigrade = 50 farenheight

15 = 59

20 = 68

25 = 77

and that's about as hot as it gets in Ireland! For the values imbetween those given add 2 f for every one centrigrade.

So for example what's 22? Add four farenheight to 68 etc

Take the Centrigrade figure and multiply it by 9. In this example: 28 * 9 = 252.

Divide that figure by 5. E.g: 252 / 5 = 50.

Add 32 to that figure. E.g: 50 + 32 = 82.

That final figure is the approximate temperature in Fahrenheit.

great answers but you can always get the computer to do the work for you, get calculator plus (ithink it's called free from the microsoft website. this converts temperature amonsgt other things at the press of a few buttons without giving you brain drain.

easiest way to get a rough estimate=

farenheit / 2 -30 = celcius

celcius * 2 + 30 = farenheit
