Do you pick it up properly? Support its spine and all that?

Have you had it for a long period of time? Are there any other changes in behavior/heath? Does the bunny get regular check ups? How old is it?

YOU DO NOT PICK A RABBIT UP BY THE SCRUFF OF ITS NECK!!!!!!!!!! Ignore that idiot.

I would need much more information than that to even speculate.

Do not pick them up by the nape of the neck. Be extra careful not to continue picking them up when they are squirming. They can break their backs this way or other bones if they fall to the floor. I have rabbits and have had several others in the past. Most do not like to be picked up. Rabbits are prey animals and get very scared when they are off of the ground. You could try picking up the rabbit and let it just sit on your lap. Usually they are very content. I still have one that no matter what doesn't like to be held, but you can lye next to him and pet him for hours.

It's best not to pick them up too much if they don't like it. When you have to, try putting one hand under their front to hold the front legs, and your other hand will support their back and hold the back legs. Hold him close to your body so he doesn't squirm away and hurt himself.
