Does anyone know how to get the propose option to come up in the sims 2 while in free play mode??

it said I had to feed him so i did.....
still no propose option?

That used to drive me beserk!! Invite him over, the feed, entertain, and use every option possible like hug, kiss, dance, sweet talk etc etc. Just cover everything they might want to do as soon as they get there, then you've got time to woo them before they go home!

to get the propose option, you must make them happy, buy cool stuff, mainly the heart shaped bed and hot tub, they'll have lots of fun with those two
