McAfee is the Best, Unlike Norton it doesn't use alot of your system resourses to run and is compatible with everything unlike Norton. McAfee also does a much better job of finding and removing the viruses that are on your pc and preventing other for getting on your PC.
Norton is useless and keep things like your camera, printer, Ipod and other items from working or being able to download.

Anti virus tools are a bunch of BS! They keep your system uninfected alright, they dont let anything run! They slow your system to a crawl. Ironic aint it? Anti virus software slows your system down as bad as the adware and spyware that slowed you down in the first place! Most of the software has conflicts with known good software also! None of it will detect everything! The WORST part of it all is the fact that people think they are safe when the truth is that it takes months for even top shelf anti virus software to detect and design removal tools. A little late then aint it? There is one and only one good prevention tool! That tool is YOU! 99.99 percent of users absolutely dont have a clue when it comes to the internet! So called free music, porn sites, gambling sites, online gaming sites, and tons of other free downloads are ALL infested with adware, spyware, malicious software, viruses, and trojans. limewire, bearshare, kazaa, etc. are all infected with crap! The very songs you download can have a virus! Ive been on the net for close to 20 years and have seen it all! All of the people who use this software are complete, unknowing boobs! Once you learn this you can throw that worthless anti virus, anti spyware crap in the trash! Another good piece of advise? Get yourself a secondary e mail addy such as yahoo or any other web based e mail. When needing an e mail for a website give them this instead of your primary. Who cares if web based e mail gets spammed to death? This keeps it out of your system.

Use Avg anti-virus free edition. Current version is 7.1.394.
It is a free anti-virus software, light on PC resources unlike Norton or Mcafee.
Also daily updates are available which are downloaded automatically as soon as you connect to the net.

I use Avast! Anti Virus as it is free and not a huge memory hog like Norton and Mcafee. Plus Norton and Mcafee, in addition to hogging your system memory and making your computer run slow cost money. There are many free anti virus programs. check out www.filehippo.com for some more.

McAfee is the best Antivirus. I mostly have all McAfee products. And is more better than Norton. I got a Virus when I had norton and with McAfee I have not.

for me I run norton's 2006 anti-virus - nofirewall
and then spyware doctor between the two it will take care of anything the net has to throw at it
