My family keep treating me like a child that have no responsibelities in life but i am not stupid. I feel like i am growing up.. They don't understand me. I wish i would be like my brother 17 got a job and could drive and be depended on. It's simply because i take things easy they think i am a child that don't understand how important things are but i just think this way : everybody is okay and nobody is hurt so it's over!! i am just trying to be mature!! any help???????

if i have understood ur question properly ... i feel that its happening mayb b'coz ur bro has been quite responsible from a young age and mayb ur parents expect the same from u ... i dont know how old r u ... but i guess u will surely be responsible too when ur time comes ... till then cheer up mate !!

Keep proving yourself to yourself!
This is the only important issue and way to get the respect from others! Also, families are very strict with their children, especially the younger ones, so you have to work on you, keep and improving your virtues and values, get more education, and progress! When you are strong and satisfied then your family will accept your stand! It sounds hard but it's the truth! It is a social/ family concept, it is not your family only, all the families who love their children deal with them in such way!
So, be happy that your family loves you! Get strength and improve constantly in what the society and family wants but mainly on what your vision is! Towards completing/ materializing your goals (your personal dreams, plans and aims) many times even your loved ones will not be fully with you, but you should keep trying to accomplish what YOU want!

girl u will alway be ur father's little daughter so there is nothing to worry abt all the parents r like this . a child will always be a child for his or her parents.
u dont need to prove ur self ok.
u should be happy that they r not putting responsibilties on u its really tuff when u grow up dear .
its better to be young and haveing fun take my word.

You can prove to your family by doing chores, getting good grades, add more hard vocab. when you're talking, and turn your homework on time, it takes time, don't worry, they'll think you're responsible in a matter of time..
