I live in Louisiana and am going to college for a degree in social work. I just came back from the military a year ago but my home town is to slow. I have lived in Germany, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington D C, Maryland, Virginia, and traveled to New York on TDY, so far I have came to the conclusion that I want to live somewhere that has the friendly feeling of home but the fast life in business. There is no economy gain here in my hometown. Also I want my child to grow up some where with a better chance at an education growth culture, for her future but in my town the only place she can go is the YMCA club to play board games.

Arlington, TX. between Ft. Worth and Dallas has very good schools and they are a very well-to-do city. I wouldn't live in Dallas or Ft. Worth because they are too busy.

Without a doubt, Fort Worth is THE best place to live. The difference between Fort Worth and Dallas is WAY more than 35 miles.

Fort Worth is much more laid back and friendly, like a small town, but with all the benefits of a big city. It has great business opportunities, a wonderful park and bike trail system, and world-class museums and culture. You are close enough to Dallas to go there, where it is much faster paced and way more materialistic and glitsy. I think Fort Worth is the perfect combination of opportunity and friendliness.

Fort Worth has a better downtown area, but Dallas is a bigger city with more things to do around town. However the hot places to live in the metroplex are in the suburbs. I live in Dallas, I like it because there are 3 art house theaters and several great book stores. If your looking for business and commercial opportunity I would stick with Dallas, although both cities are doing well.

I lived in FW for 2 years & enjoyed the section! The nightlife is a little greater laid back, yet nonetheless exciting. in case you like Texas united states music, you will definately like FW! The Sundance sq. is the downtown nightlife for FW. you could park & barhop from there. that's a brilliant number of exciting! i'm a laid back, have a lager or 2 style of lady, so it replaced into suitable for me! There are some effective restaraunts & a comedy club downtown too. I lived close to Keller, that's approximately 10-15 min. from Sundance Sq. via how the site visitors is undesirable & getting worse! i would not propose commuting from Dallas to FW. gas is outrageous & it ought to take you some million-2 hrs., reckoning on the place your'e commuting from! reliable luck with your circulate!

You mean Dallas? What's the dif? They're only a few miles apart. If you get tired of one just drive to the other. If it has to be Texas I'd vote for San Antonio.
