Not really an acronym, but I learned things as a child by singing them: Greek alphabet, how to spell 'encyclopedia' by singing along with Jiminy Cricket, etc. The technical term for that is: mnemonic - assisting the memory.

In law school, our professor taught us to remember the requirements of adverse possession by remembering OCEAN--possession has to be Open, Continuous, Exclusive, Adverse, and Notorious. It's a little obscure, but it's one of the few things I can still remember easily from law school.
