It is a good thing it means you and the girl can go out and instead of you standing, watching and being "oh so cool" (not) you can both have fun together.
I say go for it don't let them put you off it will be a bonus when you start nightclubbing and dating as an adult

No, No! If you love it continue learning without a doubt! Being able to dance is an ideal trait for reasons you are too young too hear from me, but you will learn!! The right girl will respect and be impressed with your talent. Giving up the chance to develop yourself will always cause you regret, take it from me ( I fought my mom about piano lessons and wished to god I played now!)

I'm in school too and I say keep learning because you are more likely to suceed than your friends some women think dancing is a good trait others just want a guy who is comfortable with himself and his date

it's a good thing that a guy can dance well, some women find it a turn-on but i don't think that it's one of the ideals. but then again, you shouldn't let your friends get to you because of it. so what if they make fun of what you're doing? as long as it could get you good grades and you enjoy it, go ahead, there's nothing wrong with it.

If you enjoy it, then you shoudn't listen to your friends making fun of you, and they should just be able to accept it. Dancing can help at parties and social gatherings, but I couldn't say whether all women find it ideal.

Being able to dance is definately a plus. don't worry about what your friends say, they are usually either jealous of your ability or because you are spending time away from them. This will all pass, just keep working.

slow dancing is nice at the very least and just think you'll be able to get that much closer to a girl. I'm assuming you have a school dance to go to.
