Great job with low pay - no question. I made that decision years ago and while I always could use more money, I look forward to Monday mornings - and that is priceless! If you look at people who have a job paying $50-100K they are still in debt, still don't have "enough" money, still file bankruptcy (which I have never done). It takes more creativity to live on less money, but we have everything we need - we just have to plan ahead for the things we want.

Obviously the ideal is to have a low paying job that you love. Unfortunately, most people will try to bear a suck job because of high salary.

The fact is that you should find something that you enjoy doing. I mean, we spend more time driving to and from work and at work than we do at home, shouldn't you at least try to have fun at what you do?

The alternative is, take the high paying job that you don't like, but try to do what you enjoy on a part time basis or seasonal basis. That way, you can still enjoy what you're doing and if things work out, you can quit your job and do what you love for a living.

If I have a family and serious responsibility then a High Pay SUCK job.
If I'm single...which I am and don't have a lot of responsibility then I'll take the low pay job that I can have fun with
