I don't know what you study or anything like that. But, a lot of people tell me that I'm a really smart person. And they expect a whole lot more out of me because of that. i don't have these dreams of being some kind of an exceptional person that everyone else has of me. I really just want to be a normal person. So I don't try to prove myself in the same way that someone else would. I just want to be myself. And I'm willing to bet that you just want to be yourself as well. Maybe you don't know why you have to work so hard just to regergitate rote memory, or maybe you don't know what your niche is just yet, doesn't matter. You need to find a reason before you can find a purpose.

First what? You mean top grades? Studying does not mean that you comprehend what you see. There are many reason why this could be happening, dyslexia could be one reason.
Studies have shown that people that study in a group get better grades, and gain a better understanding of the subject. Try to study with friends or other classmates. Ask them how they do it. Take notes while studying.

The key to excel in your studies is to study smart, not study hard. Use some effective techniques to aid your memorizing, eg. Mnemonics, mind-mapping, etc. And don't forget, give yourself a 10-mins break every 2 hours you spend studying to make sure your brain is in its optimum condition.
Hopefully, I'll see you getting the 1st position in your class soon!

you got to face it. no matter how many hours you study, somebody else is more intelligent than you. but that doesnt mean that you are worthless and you should stop being competitive with what you do. if it is school, being first should not be your objective, it should be learning and applying in good things what you have learned.
good luck..
dont lose hope though. time will come that you'll be first in something. if you'll be consistent and hard working.

your not good at all! give up!
just kidding..
seriously we all have our limitations.. we have to admit that others are really better than us.. But never give up if you really want to be number one! Just pray to God.. and sometimes you have to be contented with your grades..Anyway you did your best and that is something that you should be proud of..
Im just like you..But then i still feel lucky cause there are some things that im good at..just keep on striving..But don't forget to give yourself a break and be with your friends to have a good time..Study hard....put your feet on the ground... '._.'

Don't worry about it. If you work as hard as you say, which I don't doubt in the least bit, you will do very well in life. You just have to remember that there will be people who do better than you sometimes, you just have to live with it. "Try, try again" as they say. That is one great way to "get first."

You could be over studying. By studying so much, you make it so that you have to cram so much in. Just take it in rations, or moderation, and see if that helps.
