A monarchy is a government. It does the same stuff as a democracy and usually not nearly as efficiently -- unless you count killing the citizens when they disagree; monarchies generally do that pretty quickly.

A government without a monarch is useless aimless and detrimental to the interest of Society.to mess up a country you need only a Government but to develop a country you need both monarchy with government.

I live in a democracy (U.S), but I've been reading about Bhutan where it seems the people are really happy with their king. The king has said that in 2(?) years he will abdicate and allow his country to become a democracy. I don't want that to happen because I think it will corrupt the people with greed, etc., like here in the west.
They don't use the term "Gross National Product", they champion "Gross National Happiness".

Thailand's monarchy is tops with me - the rest are not. Australia, Canada, Switzerland governments are as ideal as they come - the rest are not.
