in windows there are some options like removing some programs at start up ,disk defragmantation,....etc.r there any otions like this in linux os sothat my sys works fast pls help me because its working very slowly

Ure best bet would be to have a seperate partition for your page file. If u already have one, then try increasing the size.

Adding more RAM may help too.
