I do tech support for a large OEM computer manufacture and i talk with americans all day. 95% of the people i talk to i am surprised are able to dress themselves. When someone calls in and says that their computer doesn't work and you ask them "is it turned on" and they say "you have to turn it on?" doesn't really give any intelligent points to americans. With that being said i have talked with quite a few inteligent americans, but they are far and few between

they think they asre better then everyone else, just coz they have a bigger country.
Plus they are making up for the fact that really they do not have much of their own history, compared to other places around the world like Italy for instance who had the romans and such.

Our education system is ridiculous. Our teachers are paid next to nothing, textbooks are out of date, and yet we're taught that we are "all that." So not ONLY are yanks ignorant, we're not taught how to deal with being wrong, and less than 8% of us ever leave the country.
