I didn't realise I was pregnant until the 3rd month, as I'd had very light periods for the first three months of my pregnancy., meaning I had cut it very close if I had wanted an abortion.
I was so scared to tell her when I found out. I thought she'd chuck me out of the house. I decided I wanted to keep my baby, despite only being 17 at the time, and the fact that my boyfriend of 1.5 years left me as soon as he found out.
Well, my mum was great! She was really sweet and understanding, told me I had to make my own decisions, and after the initial shock, her main question was:
" Where are we going to put the cot?"
You'd be surprised how differently parents react from what we are expecting. After all, you are carrying their future precious grandchild...
(I know, not YOU as such, but you know what I mean...)
Now I have a wonderful 4 year old boy, who is the light of mine and my parents' life!

dont be frightened you may well find their supportive you certainly wont be the first or last get a friend or relative too be with you at the time you have to think about the decisions you have to make for yourself at the moment the sooner it is in the open the sooner you can deal with it

Actually...it is not as bad as it seems. my mom and i never really had a good relationship and when i told her she was mad at the beggining and after a couple of days she started treating me really nice and helping me and supporting me. your parents are the people who can help you the most, and they will definately not turn their back on you. good luck!

when i do get pregnant im not going to be scared to tell them because i have wanted it soo long and if it comes i will be so excited

Ill tell them until after i go to the doctor to confirm it, But i dont really know what i am going to tell them for sure... I hope they would understand!!!!!!!!!

just tell them that your pregnant...cuz after everything they'll still love you...plus they'll know what to do...doctors visits...etc. etc. etc....don't hide it...cuz they'll know eventually...just tell them now
