yes, genitals in rodents can swell a LOT as they get in season so that is why u didnt see before. to make sure its balls take a closer look. if there is a little willy right between them, then i would stop worrying it is a pair of tumors
to zip - but where else would YOU look if u wanted to know a boy from a girl??

if they're down by the genitals... then yes it's a boy, hamsters tend to have big balls. Another way to check if a hanster is male is, to see if it has to wart like growths on its back, roughly above it's bum, one on the right and one on the left.

It could be backed up stool, or it could be a tumor. take it to the vet. My sister's guinea pig died of a tumor that was the guinea pig equivalent of a 20 lb tumor on a human. Be kind and get it checked out.
