I have played, and I do believe there are a lot of things "out there" which the human mind cannot understand. I'm not saying I beilieve in ghosts as such, but energy fields etc...

Humans are very afraid of the unknown, and don't allow their minds to wander too far into it...

I played with a Ouija board in an old theatre, none of us were really afraid, as we assumed nothing would happen, but as we all put our hands over the glass in the centre, seconds later, the glass exploded, shattering everywhere. We tried it with a coin (this time a little more shakily) and although the coin didn't move, a pair of dressmaking scissors on a table at the other side of the room shot off the table and onto the floor.

Needless to say, we didn't try it again, and I have never experimented since!!

I played with Ouija boards a lot when I was a kid. At first I thought the piece was moved by spirits, but I eventually realized that it's really the subconscious mind moving the piece. I knew this because of the way the piece moved, and also because I could never get a correct answer for something I didn't already know the answer to.

Ouija boards paintings... for their meant purpose, this is scaring gullible teenage women. heavily, you're unlikely to discover products of severe arcane potential that are heavily produced via potential of Parker Brothers and on sale at Toys R' Us between Monopoly and Pictionary. somebody is sometimes shifting the planchette... inspite of in the event that they do no longer look consistently wide awake that they are doing it, they're going to in many circumstances cope with it extremely lots subconciously to make it say what they're hoping this is going to assert. confirmation bias seems after something. (many circumstances, even though, somebody does understand, and is messing with the persons.) This answer could be thumbs-downed via potential of human beings who do no longer additionally understand what confirmation bias IS.

It works somehow. I had a creepy experience where it kept saying "Star Search" and my friend started crying and saying that was her grandma (she wasn't that good of an actress, so I never thought she was faking). Sometimes my friends would ask questions and I would move it, but they ended up having relevance.
