yeah, no software.
but u can wacth tv with tv tuner. there is 2 kinds of tv tuner.
1. external tv tuner, u dont need a software
2. internal tv tuner, u must put into ur cpu, and install the software
ofcourse, the internal gives u a quality picture, and external is bad. and up to you... u may choose the internal tv tuner like "ATI all in wonder"

As far as I know you need a special video card with a tuner. I haven't seen one for laptops. But there may be something you can plug in like in a pcmcia slot...

watching tv can be possible.....witout tv tunner card...but its just tht thn ur using a technology called streaming n tht content is not free ofcourse....!!!
