Because I believe in Evolution AND Creationism. I believe the Chicken came first. A chicken still needs to be created before there is a Chicken Egg.

Since it is evolution I think the chicken came as it lays eggs and the egg laing chicken had to start somewhere.If a Egg came first then it could not be as at the time the only egg laying animals were lizards and thier family and some birds.

Obviosly the chicken! Over many years, evolution has changed dinosaurs into birds. These dinosaurs did not reproduce with eggs. Eventually when chickens had evolved, they reproduced with eggs. Therefore it is the CHICKEN that came first, and not the egg. Hope this helps.

If you're a creationist, the chicken, since that is what God is said to have created first. If you're an evolutionist, then the egg, since the first chicken would have been a mutation of another species and it would have been one of those that laid the egg.

that totally depends on the person's belief. if the person believes in the bible(genesis), then he will definitely fight for what he believes in. and that is: the chicken comes first.(remember noah and his ark? all the eggs may have benn wahsed away by the flood). if you are an atheist or the type who is more into science, then you'll believe that the egg comes first[like the first microorganim(that's how the first sign of life began)].

Well I think an egg came first, because eggs came waaay before chickens. Like dinosaur eggs and such. So eggs came first.
