Suppose it depends upon what your definition of great or greatest is. To me he is a traditor and has committed acts of treason.
See that is what you call someone who disappears during war time for greater than 30 days is a traditor. Ask him where he was when he was suppose to be at the alabama national guard in 1972? Might also want to ask him why it is that he could not take his physical by the military in 1972, could it be that was the year that the military implemented drug testing? Believe it was.
Treason, that is when you act against your country and commit crimes to do so. The crimes this administration has committed are many. We could start with the 750 signing statements whereas he states he is not going to follow certian laws or whereas he just completely rewrites them. Our Consitution was founded on three branches of government. The legislative branch is the branch designed to write laws not the excutive branch. But then again if you think dictatorship is the way to go then I suppose George W. Bush would be the greatest.
You really ought to know more about the persons whom you support other than political talking points and base your decisions on facts that support your own values. Bush and Company are in direct conflict with all the things I consider valuable such as free speech, the right to vote and all the rights that the consitution grants me and protects.
If you are really intrested in knowing what the truth is behind some leaders that you think are wonderful you can check them out. Don't get me wrong I didn't care for Bill Clinton either. As a matter of fact I believe our legal government was highjacked in 1963, and I believe that the same crooks and murders have been in power since.

George W Bush is a good president, but no where near the greatest.
Tax cuts were the right thing at the right time.
Spending on Education is stupid as it won't fix the systemic issues that exist.
Spending on Social Security is completely unsustainable. Personal Social Security Investment accounts are what is needed....he backed off his plan too soon. He should have just kept at it until Congress gave it to him just to get him to shut up.
The war on terrorists......good.
Finishing the first Gulf War..... extra good.
Driving Liberals insane...... pure gold.

How about those obvious democrats and their great pursuit of the English language. Did any of you actually pass 2nd grade? If you want to try to sound smart, start by doing us the honor of using spellcheck. Yahoo has put it right on the screen for your convenience. By the way not quite the Greatest. Reagan holds that torch.

To Therealmsred regarding your comments re Clinton vs Bush the younger...
Yes he is doing a wonderful job of cleaning up the mess that Clinton made...
There were a handful of countries that still had respect for America and its values...he got rid of them, now there are zero.
The biggest surplusses in US history to the biggest deficits...cleaned up them.
8 years of relative peace...1 dead American soldier in Kosovo war...more than 3000 dead and counting for the two GW Wars. Doing well there!
Gas $3.00 a gallon...how much was it under Clinton?
I could go on all day...he is the worst president the US ever had and hopefully ever will have.

Hey Johnny Zondo I have seen many dead soldiers and it is not a good thing, but guess what, it has happened and its gonna happen again many times in history. Its why and for what that matters, like the tens of thousands Killed in Iraq by Hussein.
If you think we can sit and never have an American soldier die agin as we sit back and watch the world go to Hell then you are a fool. Oh ya BILL CLINTON followed that when he let HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS die in Rwandas attemped genocide.
Liberalism is a mental disorder and fed by ignorance of the world. Candyland, Hollywood Fools that only care when it happens to them.

Most presidents have a certain talent for spending our great grand-children's earnings, which places them in a rank far superior to the common sort of pickpocket.
In this ability the Bush family has shown exceptional prowess.

george bush is a great president and people who think otherwise need to think about this... the only reason you hate him is because of the war. what would you have done if you were in his position? and those of you who say dont go to war are idiots. if we hadnt have gone to war, we would still be having terrorist attacks to this day! so bush was in a no win situation because the @ssh0le$ that hate him now would still hate him if we didnt have the war because then they would complain that he didnt do anything about it

Pres. Bush is really a great guy. And with the choices these days, I don't think we could've done better. With the exception of course, of Rush.

Definitely great. He's up against Reagan for greatest, though. We'll have to wait until he's through to decide.

He's terrible. Reagan was good, Bush I was ok, Clinton was bad (saved only by a republican congress- balance is good), but this guy is terrible. I can predict the next president is going to be Horrible- and her name will be Hilliary (or Jeb?). I'm not looking forward to the next dolt.
