I hate Wal-Mart! I never shop there unless I have to I absolutely cannot find the item anywhere else.
I boycotted them for several reason:
1) Have you seen the episode of Frontline about it? (If not check out the site at the bottom---you can see the full show online. There is another documentary available on DVD about it too, which I have not seen entitled " Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" by Edith Arana, Red Esry, Rev. Altagracia Perez, and Donna Payton. Supposedly Wal-Mart attempted to have it stopped but was not able to. I do know people that work there that were instructed not to watch it.)

2) extremely poor service. If you go in there looking for something, you can never find it & if you ask someone that works there they send you on a wild goose-chase before you find out they do not even carry it! Last time I was in there, I went for two items, it took forty-five minutes & I was not able to get either one of them! One of the items [Scotchgard] they did not even know what it was! Then I lost money in the soda machine, but the line for customer service was wrapped all the way around to the corner of the store, filled with people wanting to make returns. I asked a manager if they could help me & they said waiting in that line was the only way to get my money back. They only had one of three counters open, but there were several employees just standing around gossiping. The manager could have at least sent people over to open the two other counters so people did not have to wait so long. I have had several similar instances when the employees are unhelpful. I work in customer service & it just makes me so mad that I bend over backwards to help my customers but that it is extremely difficult to get good service when I go somewhere. Like, when you ask their employees if there are any in back---they do not even check. They just say the do not. Or when you ask where something is and they say "If it's not over there I don't know where it is" .
3) Lack of selection. In most cases they only carry one name brand & their housebrand & the namebrand carried is not the one I use.
4) Some items (especially the clothes) are low quality. We used to call them "Wal-Mart-fall-a-parts growing up.
5) I can almost always find stuff cheaper somewhere else. I do not know why everyone thinks they are so cheap!

(Sorry for any typos, spell check was not working.I do not think it likes long answers.)

assuming this fairly got here approximately, i do in evaluation to Wal-Mart because of the fact in loads of places it drove small agencies out of city. It additionally grew to grow to be actual right into a optimal perfect clarification for manufacturers going remote places. So on an identical time as interior the fast term it helped human beings out, interior the long-term it has helped to undermine the inspiration for the yank financial gadget. additionally on an more suitable very own element, there consistently seems a line, and in user-friendly terms 2 registers open. One time they did now not % to furnish me a refund even regardless of the incontrovertible fact that I had the receipt for the product. I even have been given loud adequate, and recommended them that i wanted call the regulation enforcement officers and that they gave in. Wal Mart is absolutely the worst shop I shop at.

I HATE WALMART WITH A PASSION. The one on my side of town is always crowded. The aisles are too narrow, there's always too many people, especially on the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays are a hellish nightmare. The employees are rude, and help is hard to find, I unknowingly have picked up a stalker or two here and there on my trips there. It gives me a headache just thinking about it.

I don't shop there unless absolutely necessary. I hate going in there. It's always crowded and they way they have the store laid out, you can never find what you are looking for quickly. I hate shopping, so I like to go in there and get what I need and get out. And then when you get to the checkout, there are only 2 lanes open and a line a mile long. I work in a retail grocery store and if the lines start to back up, our manager tells someone to open up another lane to get the customers taken care of quickly. That is customer service and Wal-mart needs to work on their customer service very much because they suck at it. I'm sure there are some that work there that value their work and want to help customers as much as possible, but the majority of the employees could care less. It's just a paycheck to them. They need to remember that if not for the customers, they would have no job. And as for saving money on clothes and stuff, you can find bargains on that stuff at thrift stores and it is in better shape and actually fits. I went in there to find a long black skirt for a cantata we were doing at church. They had none. I found a really nice one at a thrift store for a bargain and I didn't have to wait a "year" to check out. I also hate it when people leave carts all over the parking lot instead of taking them to the cart rack that is 2 feet from their car. But that happens everywhere, except Aldi's. I think all stores should do like Aldi does with their carts. Pay a quarter, get the cart, return the cart, get your quarter back. I am getting off track. Time to stop my rant.

Yes. It brings out the worst in me. I'm the one on the next aisle yelling- "Will you shut that damn kid up!" when someone's little brat is screeching it's head off.

Lately, I wear an Ipod in there, and just about mow people down, trying to get through that hellhole as quick as possible. Shame to have to go there at all, but there are things they carry that no one else has.

Heck no. I don't hate it anymore. Not since they fired me. LOL. I've only gone there once since thena and that was to get the final paycheck.

I do plan on going back every once in a while and seeing all the cute ladies I used to work with.
