I get the "AVGWB an error has accurred" when I scan my avg anti viruse then it says this program has preform an illegal operation also when microsoft tells me you have errors to send them a report as well on otheres websites and programs/or should I just format and start all over / I'm new to this just learning how to understand using a computer need help

well, you have virus, definitely. And the virus is targeting AVG, by making AVG crashes everytime AVG tries to scan. This problem iss quite serious, if you want a hassle free solution, just reformat it. Or you could get into a fortnight war with the virus, and since you said you're new on computer, I would reccomend you to just reformat it rather than trying to fix it, I also reccomend you not doing it yourself.

one, go into my computer and rightclick on your main hardrive and go into properties then tools and use 'scan for errors'

you can also try Advanced Windowscare(search for it at download.com) which makes some repairs to windows.

defrag(same play as scanforerrors)

If all those don't work you'll have to just reformat.

you could also try going into safe mode by hitting f8 when u turn ur computer on and then running ur virus scan or u could use a boot disk and run a virus scan thats independent on ur OS
