Pro wrestling is fun to watch. Doesn't matter if it's real or not.

I really didn't want to answer this question, since I'm SICK TO DEATH of it....
Wrestling is NOT fake, it's REAL entertainment. It started in the late 1800's and early 1900's as part of the travelling carnival. Promoters did (and still do) call the shots as to who wins and loses, but the wrestlers communicate during the match as to what series of events/moves is coming next. So, it's not rehearsed. Other than the "spots," which are the events that are either highlights of the match (like table bumps) or important storyline elements, all action is determined by the participants as it happens.
As far as the blood is concerned. It's real. Pro wrestlers cut their foreheads to bleed. If you look at many vets, you'll see scars running horizontally across their foreheads.
To say wrestling is fake, and therefore, stupid, is to say all fictitious entertainment is fake, and therefore, stupid.

Yes, it is real. It is not choreographed. Sometimes the punches are faked, but the steel chairs are real. The blood is real, but the wrestler doesn't always bleed because he was hit. Sometimes he cuts himself to make him bleed. Especially in the head.
These are professionals, and they know how to hit and get hit without serious injury. But, they can't avoid pain. It does hurt.

Its as phony as a $3 bill and isn't even interesting any more. It used to be fun to watch when the old WCW was around, but after Vince McMahon bought it and then changed it to the WWE, it got really stupid. And the "Entertainment" portion of WWE says it all. If you'd really like some insight into it - get your hands on a copy of Ric Flair's autobiography - he pulls no punches (but then he never did when he was champion either - ha!). Woooooo

No..none of it is real..even the blood is fake..i believe that occasionally some wrestlers do get hurt..but its strictly by accident..they train for a long time to make sure they dont get hurt
My dad told me how one time his father went to see some wrestling matches..and when it was over he went out to a bar with some of his friends..and there they were..the wrestlers who acted like they wanted to stomp each others guts out..drinking and laughing and having a good time with each other

It's real, but they just overemphasize each thing. Like they punch them, but not hard at all and the one being punched will act like he just got hit with a baseball bat.

Some is real, most is just illusion... those people have to practice really hard so that they DON'T hurt each other.
