NO, start solids between five and six months. Talk to your doctor though, don't listen to other people. Good luck. You can start baby cereal at four months.

It is often recommended to give a baby food at around 6 months of age, but babies differ greatly. Signs of readiness include the ability to sit without help and the display of active interest in food that others are eating.

And No, Jimmy James, A baby does not need to be breast fed, until a year old! They can be, but you don't even have to breast feed at all if you don't choose to do so. You can use bottles/formulas, and it'll be just fine. Most mothers will introduce baby food or baby cereal, while still breast feeding/bottles.

Nope.

You can start babies on that special rice cereal at 4 months but it is best to wait till they are atleast 6 months before giving them acual baby food.

Start with veggies. Feed baby only 1 type of veggie for 3 days to check for allergies. Once the food is clear then you can give them that whenever.
After that move into fruits and use the same process to check for allergies.

My daughter is 3 months also and I have four children all together and unless for some unusually reason the doctor say's yes. The answer is absolutely not.
EVERYTHING you do right now will effect you child later on Physically and mentally. I know what I'm talking about. Don't let other people talk you into this either. Only the doctor should make this kind of decision

Talk to your pediatrician to see what is recommended for your child. It depends on growth rate of your baby, how much formula/breastmilk they are getting during the day and if your baby has adequate head control. My 4-mo-old is in the 90th percentile for growth and we just started him on cereal last week after receiving the pediatrician's blessing. He'll get his first veggies this weekend when grandma/grandpa are in town :)

If your baby appears to be interested in eating solids, start out with plain baby cereal and then gradually introduce veggies and fruits. Breastmilk/formula should still be the primary source of nutrition, though.

Probably not just yet.Ask at your next doctor check. Some babies get started on rice cereal between 4 and 6 months. If you are breastfeeding, you are doing fine.

You can give your baby the baby cereals, like gerber rice, just add formula, and make sure it's kind of runny the first few times and then gradually make it a little thicker. There's directions on the back of box to tell you measures if you need them.

If milk is not satisfying your baby, make sure he/she is not thirsty by offering water. At 3.5 months, you can start on baby cereal and milk, which is still mostly milk and introduce other foods gradually from about 4.5 months
