OK now my sister is always joking with me that she is going to a sperm bank to have her next baby since my nieces father is no where around..
but that got me thinking...

How much does it cost to get sperm from them?
Do you have to apply for it?
Do you get to pick the man?

I never heard anyone talk about them before so i am just really curious what goes on with them..

Ok,
there are webs sites that you can use to help.
For a small fee they will let you browse their donors.
The info you can get is height, weight, looks, education, etc..etc.
Depending on the track record of the person depends on the price. Normally its around 125.00 usd for a single use. Then you have to pay for the overnight shipping and special delivery type charges. Overall cost can be anywhere from 150.00 usd to 250.00 usd for 1 shot. Then you have to have a doctor insert it.

Yes it cost money, how much I am not sure.
The higher end places allow you to see a brief profile of the donor but never his name.
You do have to fill out and agree to some legal papers saying in no way will you attempt to track down the donor.
