I think it was totally unfair and I am very suspicious of the refree. Australia was the better team that night and they played beautiful Football, another 15 seconds and they would have dragged Italy to extra time and definitely won. It was a cruel decision. FIFA must have provision to investigate such suspicious decisions!

I agree. That decision was ridiculous, and Australia didn't deserve to go out of the competition like that. =(

it's seem controversial because it happen in the last 20 seconds. if it's happen within the 60' people won't think it is controversial. why, beacuse the referee was doing his job. When grosso play the ball from the left, the aussie def. ( i forgot the name) doing a double legged chalenge that not hit the ball at all. it was a dangerous and reckless play. and it's done in the wrong area, the referee was quite polite enough did'n show the player a red card for his chalenge. usually, two-legged challenge deep in the area, with high posibility of penetrating defence by the suferred, and done by the last defender, brandished a red card. But i felt unsympathyzed for grosso, because he was dived down. that left the wrong impression for the goal

particular because of the fact he fell after the Australian participant foul the Italian participant interior the penalty container.whilst tackling in that section the gamers must be better careful..that's greater powerful it ended this way than the only from the day gone by whilst issues have been given gruesome between the Netherlands and Portugal.

it was a BS call..sold of course by Oscar winning flops who whine about most of their fouls and get them because their 3 star status gives them clout...

I'll give that to Brasil...they may get penalties for and against them..but you don't see all the drama BS ...

as for the game..it would hav e gone to a shootout...I soooo wanted Totti to shoot over the goal in order to screw the ref from his pathetic call..i just wonder how he sleeps at night....forget that..

I want to know how refs can live with themselves after half of these calls...
