He is definitely still alive. Monster, Inc. was made a long time ago. If he had died, it would have been in the news, and since I follow entertainment news pretty closely, I can tell you that nothing has ever been reported about John Goodman dying.

John Goodman is most definitely still living. I saw him in a commercial promoting New ORleans just last week and he looked great.

go to his yahoo actors page, and then ya get the satisfaction of in your facing your spouse. goody is still alive just did work on the new Cars movie. 2006 Co-starred in Randall Miller's "Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing and Charm School" and is just finished work on a movie to be release jan 07
