Evolution is for the scientific - theory gatherer's that can repeatedly test and observe the known world, so that they can observe the truth as closely as possible.

Creation is for the faithful, predispositioned to believe that which they have been told by those that taught them to be faithful. No room for testable repeatable observations. The truth is "God" the words in an old book, and the support of others that have the same faith - and that is all that counts.

I used to be a believer in Creation - then I went to college and started observing the whole world - too many variations on creation - evolution has archeological evidence over the entire world and the evidence is observable and repeated and as close to the truth as it gets.

I guess I would have to say creation, but not in the biblical sense, as I do not believe the bible to be an accurate account of history. Big bang? Well maybe that's one of many past civilization's technology evolving to the point of self destruction ----->BANG! And the few thousand people who survived had the job of trying to pass down history. If so, we may never know how many Big Bangs that have passed, but until we learn from it, it could be our inevitable future. I believe as long as we teach to "worship the potter, not the pot" we are sending the message that the earth is inconsequential, and it's obvious the toll that mentality has taken on our home. Even assuming christian beliefs, is it not wrong to abuse and destroy something that was created with such obvious love and care? If G-D built a sand castle in your backyard, you don't have to worship the creation in lieu of the creator, but don't stomp it down either. Regardless of religion, the earth isn't much mystery... it is the solid beneath our feet providing the stability that enables all of us to ponder the unknowns such as G-D(s).... it is an amazing creation, the system in motion here called life. Creating the earth wasn't an easy feat, for G-D or the amazing exploding nothing.... who are we to disrespect, abuse, neglect, exploit, or otherwise undo any of the hard work that went into this creation?

Creation of course. According to evolution everything started with the big bang when a piece of nothing exploded. And all of us know that if there is nothing that nothing can happen. Besides evolution proves itself wrong. Those who follow the religion of evolution constantly shift their beliefs around whenever some new scientific discovery shows them to be wrong. God created everything. It's as simple as that. Read John 3:3-6 and Ephesians 2:8-9

Creation ---- It is much easier to believe than something scientists can not even prove a big bang theory and everything just magically fell into place. You can see God in everything the perfect spots of dew on the newly opened spring plants. I baby smiling and you know it is a perfect miracle. I do not think chain theories and things just came together can explain this. Also the idea of guardian angels and were our loved ones go when they die............Think about it a little more and you would have to come to the same conclusion. Scientists can not even agree on there theories and can not prove any of them and this carbon dating they try to use is a load of bunk! God is in every wonderful thing that happens and I for one am glad there is a God or we would just be a bunch of one celled organisms floating in space hoping planets would smash together so maybe just maybe our organisms could smash together and we can hope to evolve into something else. Than why do i not have 6 toes and why do I not look any different than people from 100 yrs ago???????? That evolving thing is garbage..........

I dont believe in either. I believe in what I can see and know for myself. As I wasn't here when the world either popped out from thin air at the hand of God or spent thousands of years gathering dust to become what it has today, I choose to believe I am here and thats it.

Evolution is based on science which science is sometimes only theory (someones imagination and what ifs'?) and creation is based on religion/faith of tales written by a stoner in the bible.

I am here and thats all that matters and I try to make my time count as much as I can from day to day. Everyone can argue till the cows come home about this subject but as none of us were personally there to witness it, no ones right and no ones wrong.

Cheers

A little of both, but not Biblical Evolution. I believe in intelligent design and adaptability. Certainly within a billion years life forms will change, but there is no way that ALL the animals in the world came from the same ancestor. evolution within specis is how I like to put it

I believe that creation leads to evolution ... because you need to start some where and to be able to change based on the environmental conditions =)

I believe in a literal six day creation(God created everything) and the reason I believe this is because God's word is infallible!

according to the christian/jewish religions, there was another creation here long before genesis. the devil, back then, was the
head angel and became jealous of god, and was fired and kicked out of heaven. the devil (the first vandal) trashed the then existing
world. I think the dinesours bones, etc. are left-overs from that creation.
