I'm not the killing type, but to be honest if I found him I would probably kill him very quietly and dispose of the body so no one knew he was dead, and to be equally honest I wouldn't do it so much for the sake of the United States as I would for the sake of the average citizen of the Middle East who's trying to live their life and raise their family just like everyone else, and really doesn't care to watch their little boy or girl blown to bits in front of them by a suicide bomber promised seventy virgins by a man whose vision of Islam is demented and twisted at best.

Then I would find those in favor of peace in the societies he holds sway in, and encourage them to greater action so their people could hear the message of peace and harmony more clearly, and follow it more easily.

If I handed bin Laden over to the U.S., they would naturally want to make an example of him... and while they have a right to do that and it would have psychological value for the morale of the American people, it would also motivate those who support him to greater action, which is rarely humanitarian considering the crowd bin Laden hangs with.

Regardless of whether or not he was responsible for 9/11, the culture of terror and violence bin Laden openly encourages is utterly destructive and he won't stop even if his demands at the moment are satisfied. He will merely come up with more demands to justify his continued indescriminate slaughter, so the best I could hope for if I found him was to put an end to him and make sure no one knew he was gone, so his followers would be stuck in an extended period of limbo while people searched for him and many of them had time to re-examine things and, in their inaction, begin to feel the pull of a peaceful home life.

Eventually someone would step up to replace him and re-mobilize the movement, but in the meantime it would give those who want to find peaceful and productive solutions to things the advantage.

He did not do a thing. Intellegence just wanted to put a face to terrorism and he fit the bill. But if i found him i would turn him in and collect my $25 million reward and watch how Bush would make up another creative lie to keep the conflict going.

didn't you read the fbi report that said that there's no conclusive evidence that osama bin laden is behind 9/11? i would give him a fair trial. but of course because of government tactics and misinformed people, that would most likely not be possible.

I would ask him what he thinks and why, and whether he actually had anything to do with 9-11.

I would tie him up and put him in a room full of rats and just leave him there.
