you'll want to check w. the Cdn consulate in the Phillipines, and check out theCdn governmnet immigration link below.

I live in Vancouver, which has a large immigrant and Filipino and Asian community, there is an special immigration agency here for newcomers and mostly Filipinos called Helping House - I'm sure they can help you, they can certainly help you get settled and connect you with the local community

Also, there is a lot of work, and work visas available to Filipino caregivers, nurses etc. I've included the web adrs of the consulate in Manilla - you'll need to talk to them about visas - but I beleive Filipinos have preferred status for work visas

We have border guards keeping people from canada out of the us. Why would any sane person want to go there? Cut your losses and go back to the Philippines.
