Years ago when I was trampin', I went through probably several cases of beer and 2 or 3 oz. of pot a day, every day. When I was jammin', which was most of the time, I had a golden combination I loved. I'd drop about 5 reds, wait a half hour and drop 15 whites. I stayed wasted just jammin' down the highway from people handing me beer, wine, booze, you name it, out their windows to me as I'd pass. Being totally wasted all the time became part of my personality. People who new me couldn't even tell any more. I rode my scooter all over the country like that. Never got busted, even when I'd get busted for assault. I got busted for assault all the time but no convictions cause it was always self defense. Anyway, yeah, shoot I can't say I wouldn't cause I did. Never had an accident either.

I would drive as long as I had enough time between drinks (1 hour per drink). I live in a small town where cops live for D.U.Is. If I lived in a less strict area I would drive an hour after three quick drinks but no sooner.

No. Even if I had let 3-5 hrs go by since the last drink, I wouldn't take a chance, only under emergency conditions might I be prodded, getting someone to the hospital because an ambulance hadn't showed.

Its ok to have 3 drinks if you know what the elimination time is to bring you under the law requirement. That doesn't mean they are not going to pull you out of you car because you smell like alcohol!.
Personally I don't drink so I don't have to worry about ot!

I used to do it, but now, after a boy at his 18th birthday had a severe accident and is going to spend his life (whatever life) in bed, when I have to drive I do not drink even 1!

How long of a time span. it takes the body about an hr to process 1 oz of alcohol. If enough time lapsed bw the drinks and when I was ready to leave---yeah I'd drive home.

To be honest I've done it though I know It's not right, I have never driven totally drunk but a couple of beers between "chest and back", yes, I have to admit it. I'm in England, are you coming here to arrest me for that?
Seriously, To be drunk I'd have to drink ten or fifteen, when that's happened I've been safe and people have too.

Never. I drink and my boyfriend who doesnt drink at all always drives. Works just fine for us. More people ought to try it.
