While the father doesn't have the right to contest an abortion, he DOES have the right to stop an adoption and volunteer to take custody of the child, so that sort of negates that one. Otherwise, all I can say is that no one ever said life was fair.

It's not cool for a mother to give up her child or abort it. Abortion in itself is a selfish and sick act. You can disagree if you want, but that's the truth. There's no use in arguing. Putting the child up for adoption is much better than abortion, but still, just because the mother does not want the baby makes it a mistake. If she does not want to have children, she should use a source of contraception or just not have sex. Same goes for the father. It's really that simple.

I think men has the same rights than women. This story about women have to make this decision because its her body, and men doesn't know how is to get pregmanet its just an excuse to throw all the responsability on women. "It's your body not mine, so you decide" that's very conveniet for men.
Most women buy this silly story to take as their own rights assuming a responsability the men supose to take too. This way men are free from their responsability for not paying its price, tfiding themeslves free to keep going from women to women.
You can bet, if that had happened to me, I would make my partener takes his part of the responsabilitie and on case of one of us, me or him, had decided not be ready to have a child, that would be the solution...if I had decided not be ready and him be ready, the solution would be not have the child and vice-versa.When comes to child I believe both are equally responsable.
Answering your question, men can't get rights because they don't want to assume this rights...where else have you seem women have rights over something and men none? They don't have because they don't want, while women are fighting to gain more rights, every right putted available to her she will take, since she is lacking of it, she seems this as solution for her lack of rights and not as a part of responsabilty that doesn't belongs to her.
I bet if men were equally responsable for pregnancy, taken their responsability as women does, it would have many less childs in the world without a father.

You have a good question. However, most authorities believe that the ultimat answer rests with the woman (the mother) - not the father. It would seem like the father should have some rights. but unfortunately, that usuallly not the case.

You have the right to not have sex if you dont want to deal with unwanted pregnancy. You have the right to get a vasectomy so that you dont have unwanted pregnancy. You have the right to abstain if you dont want unwanted pregnancy....you get the picture?

we live in a society that makes itself strong by keeping men weak.
so long as you do your job you will be left alone, but unless you have plenty of money you may as well shut up.

Your choice in the matter happens before you ejaculate. After that, it isn't your body; It is the woman's.
If you won't feed 'em, don't breed 'em.
