Oliver Kahn said he would give a chance to Lehman who is also a veteran, by this desition Klinsman decided to put Lehman on the goal, who had been given a good matches until now.

Maybe Kahn would play the final(If they get there) or the match for the third place. And that would be his last World Cup match, and would fallow with a retirement with other veterans as:
Edwin Van del Sar (Netherlands)
Philip Cocu (Netherlands)
Zinedine Zidane (France)
and that is what I know so far!

Of course it was fine decision made by the coach Klinsman. Jens Lehmann had a wonderful season with the Arsenal and better then Oliver Khan. The present performance count not the past one.
Although feel little bit of discomfort looking at the Oliver Khan on the bench with his long face. Bit of pity but Jens Lehmann can save the day, which matter the most for the Germany. Hale Germany!

I think Khan has more experience in the upcoming rounds and will be ble to manage better than the present keeper and for those who say what about the gifted goal in 2002 which Goalkeeper hasnt made such a mistake.

He might have been the best, but he's getting old. And it is the best that the olds are replaced with the youngs, so that they have a chance to gain experience too.
