for all those people tryin to correct me, when i say nocturnal it doesn't exactly mean that i'm never awake in the day, it's just that i have been up all night recently, ok, it's a figure of speech so chill out.

I used to be awake till 6am and then wake up at around noon to start my day but these days I sleep at around 2am and wake up 9am thereabouts. I couldn't sustain my nocturnal predispositions along with my day job. Plus, I didn't like missing prime time or going out with my friends at nights.

You wake up at 12 am go to sleep at 5 pm? Then you are awake most of the daylight hours. All of them in the winter. I go to bed between 3 & 7am and get up about 11am. I am not nocturnal but I am more than you are.

Lately I've been becoming nocturnal as well. I stay up until around 4 am because of my anime shows on adult swim... (gotta love em!) I wake up at around 11 or 12 or later, I just love to sleep, it's a heck of a lot better than being awake in these surroundings...

Lol.
I know I am. I've been like this for weeks. I've tried resetting my body clock, by trying to sleep early by taking a sleeping pill. It didn't work. I ended up waking up at 2.00 in the afternoon.
Hence, I'm even more screwed up...
I doomed to remain nocturnal forever...
You are not alone!

Uumm...if you were turning nocturnal, you'd sleep through ALL the daylight hours, and only be awake when it's dark. Based upon your own description, you're not nocturnal.

I have been that way since I was young, always a Night Owl. I often choose to work Graveyard shift, and I love the peace and solitude of the night. I also love being up when the sun comes up, but not getting up at that time.

Me too! I can even feel my canines getting longer! I now have this weird accent! I hate bright light. The crucifix is starting to give me headaches. I'm thirsty all the time and my co-worker's starting to eat bugs and call me 'Master' every time he finishes a sentence! lol
