Do you mean the man-made CONCEPT known as Time?

Time is real, my dear. Things move along, and change, and change is time. The only man-made aspect is the measuring of time, not the existence.

It is true, however, that many lower orders have little concept of time as other than the present. They may have some intuitive awareness of duration, but for most, the only awareness is probably like "before I get hungry again" or "after I slept for awhile," and other totally subjective perceptions.

Time is an abstract. It doesn't really exist. It is another paradigm that someone will need to see past, in order to make another leap in evolution.

How do I know that time is an abstract? Because our perceptions of it change based on our activities. If we are enjoying ourselves - then time speeds up - but at the same time, we do not feel like we are aging. If we are bored, and not being productive - then time slows down, and we feel older. Contradictory perceptions.

First of all, Time is not just a manmade phrase but a physical quantity. It is a basic parameter for universe to exist. No time = no universe. It is related to entropy also. So that it is non reversible.

"Time" is a word, not a phrase.

Time is an abstraction, which allows us to derive relationships and perspective.

Two objects can occupy the same space only if separated by Time (in this dimension, anyway).
