Its midnight and I am officially 18. Nobody cares though but me. But I guess it doesn't matter. Being 17 was the worst year of my life! I can only hope 18 will be A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT!

well happy birthday Mary! 18 is a good age, don't waste it - make it memorable by doing something worthwhile and helping people who need it. Go and help feed the homeless at a shelter, check and see if the elderly person down the street needs help in any way, take the time to throw a frisbee with the young kids down the street. Making other people feel better about themselves will give you that wish that 18 will be a whole lot different than the worst year of your life, could end up making lasting friendships, and may even give you the best break you could ever receive for your future! Yes, I care, regardless of not knowing you, as you are a unique human being who should be respected. Now go out there and do things for others so it will come back to you in some way, making your 18th year the best ever! (don't forget to blow out those candles, and eat a bite of cake for me!)

Happy Birthday to you! I just had my birthday too...but I turned 24. :) I am sure a lot of people care, sometimes they forget because of work and things like that. My brother almost always forgets my birthday, except Mom reminded him this year lol. Hope you have a good day.
