What happened in real life and also, how did they explain her being gone on the show?

i don't think the did just there one day gone the next and no clue what happened to her in real life but the show cut her because they thought the dynamic would be smoother without her

She just disappeared into the abyss...
They never once explained what happened to her on the show! :) I loved Family Matters, but her disappearance was a running joke between my sister and I.

Nobody knows. She just disappeared one day.
Same thing happened to Chuck Cunningham (Happy Days), who just went up to his room and never came down.
In Married With Children, they added a new character (a boy named 'seven'), and later removed him without explanation, later in the series they poked fun of the fact featuring him on the back of a milk carton.
