the issue is there are far too many parents who try to be their child's friend instead of doing their job and parenting.

Being a real parent is tough - sometimes you have to be uncool and unpopular. Yes that means it's my reponsibility to ensure my child eats healthy foods and not McD's, yes it means I determine what is acceptable for viewing not the govenrment and it is my job to socialize my child prior to entering school not the teachers
off soapbox!

I would say the parents have added a contribution to it.
I also feel the government has done it's equal share as well. Cutting the schools out of things that are necessary, like education a whole day class like before. I also feel society in general has contributed their part too. When a society turns it's back on crime allowing it to continue..afraid to tell on individuals or just doesn't care,
we have even more greater problems in the crime field.
Children grow up in a world with this all around and if not carefully watched they turn down the wrong road. .

It depends who's making the assesment. People pay therapists a whole lot of money in order to hear: 100% (parents responsible for everything wrong for society- beginning with ourselves as the individual units within society). Personally, I like to take more responsibility for myself and actions, so I'd have to say as responsible as anyone else.

no one is to blame. For they are only doing what they believe is best. As where their parents and so on and so on. The way to cease this continuation of karma is to resolve your beliefs yourself and accept that you have a choice to change. Do you really need to be right or wrong to be happy? The answer is it is always irrelevant for the happiest people. They carry no beliefs therefore they carry no judgement.
