I have tried, but I'm not exactly computer literate and when I go on ebay, they have so many selections I just can't get a simple answer.

Ebay is complex for a beginner. (They say it's simple, but eBay says a lot of things that aren't exactly true.)

That being said, the jewelry category is VERY competitive. I know. I used to sell jewelry on eBay; however, I graduated to my own website.

The hardest thing to get right for this category is good pictures of your stuff. That is a MUST if you want to succeed at all. You need a good digital camera and a good natural light source. Choose your background for you jewelry carefully. I discovered that angel hair works well because of its slightly refractive quality that makes the jewelry shimmer. You will also have to learn your way around a good photo software program.

I would suggest you don't try to sell your stuff until you have mastered the basics. There's no point in throwing away money on listing fees. But don't be discouraged! I know that if I could learn all that stuff at my age, ANYONE can learn it.

To your success. . .
