I love the answers, but realistically everyone is as smart as the moment you live in...think on that!!!

The smarter we get the dumber we become.
How many people today could just go out in the wilderness and survive like out ancestors did? Very few.
We have become so intelligent the we have specialized ourselves into being unable to fend for ourselves in nature.

Probably because people are usually smart in only one or two areas of life or have only one or two kinds of intelligence (there are several types of intelligence), and while they may be quite smart in the use of the kind of intelligence they have, they're not so smart in the others. You find, for example, that some people have great skills in linear intelligence, but have weak emotional intelligence: they can talk a blue mile, but they are "dumb" in relating to people.

Intelligence is not the same thing as wisdom. Many folks are extremely intelligent and yet lack the ability to apply their knowledge in practical ways.
I don't know how old you are, but the good news is that wisdom usually grows with age.

You're only in touch with your conscious thought. If you took some time to listen to your subconscious you'll see the answer to that question. Next time when you're lying in bed and you're busy thinking away write your thoughts down. You will see what I mean. This is one aim of mediation. You will see why you are sabotaging your life.

your smartness depends upon your conduct and physical manifestation but the things u do is completely depends upon ur present sense and sense of alertness..try u can be smart as well as a genius ..best of luck!!!

Because you have free will or to put it better you have the freedom of choice. and as a human being we ten to follow our second thought or mind then to follow our first mind.
As humans we need to exercise better will power then we do.
