Ok, so I was just browsing around on the internet when I found several people saying that President Bush, the government is trying to ban anime from the U.S. , can they do that, should we make a potition?

The government is NOT trying to take anime away. Where ever you browsed that page, never go there again. It's not anywhere NEAR their agenda.
Yes they can do that legally, however, but a peitition is not necisary, there are no threats against it.
And to the people above me, it would not be against the first amendment. And Bush having to much time on his hands? Please. Stay out of political questions. Bush has EVERYTHING but time.

The government cannot even wipe there own butts How they gonna get rid of anime. Besides anime started off as an underground movement and was banned to begin with Look at how far that got them

Don't believe everything you hear on the Internet. It would be a waste of time to try to ban anime, time which would be better spent on other more important matters... and anyway, if that is true, Bush is even worse of a president then I thought.

Don't believe everything you heard...besides if they try it, there gonna have a hard time cause there more Anime lovers in the USA than drug users and please if anime addicted people like me doesn't get there anime from the t.v our stores there is the Internet They cant ban the Internet and there Anime sites...Now in piss off! >_<

I doubt that the US government would even bother on anime! They have bigger fish to fry!
And if they even try..there would be much protest at it is violation of the 1st amendment! Freedom of the expression!

No way they will ever do it; US gov. said it is free country. So why they ever think of banning anime. They should be better banning drugs or firearm or pornography. ANIME RULZ!!!
