You can use hot glue and adhere it to picture frames.
You can make carpet placemats for your dinner table.
Glue it to the inside of your shoes so you feel like you're walking barefoot everywhere you go.
You can put it in front of your bathtub so your floor isn't slippery when you get out.
Make a welcome mat with it.
Put a piece in your garage to wipe your feet on before entering the home.
Line your freezer with it.
See how big a piece you can flush down your toilet before it clogs.
Make round "fuzzy frizbees" with it.
Enclose your television with it.
Make a lovely sweater for your pet.
Make yourself a jacket.
Carpet your kitchen countertops.
Cut out funny shapes and nail them to neighbours' house.

You'll have lots of fun!

When I was a struggling new mother with two kids and not a lot of cash I trailed round the markets and shops for carpet samples that were no longer in use - you know the great heaps of sample books they show you in the shops before you buy .
Anyway I managed to get enough to cover the floor of our attick bedroom for the kids and it looked great, like a patchwork quilt only in carpet. When we moved to a new house the kids wouldn't go without their special carpet, they used it to play games on and certain colours were special areas for the games.
You could make your carpet into something like that, just match it with carpet of similar thickness - this is important - and use it like a mosaic as a feature of your room. Have fun.

Hey,
have you thought of maybe putting it on the wall. I think it would look good if you had one wall then paint the other walls a lighter color that would match. If you could put on a wall next to a joining room then it will help cut down on the noise.

most carpet stores sell seam tape, this tape will invisibly hide all your seams so can make larger carpets out of smaller ones, or cut out patterns and seam them together to make fancy throw rugs. good luck.

If you go to Petsmart or Petco you'll notice how expensive the cat climbing and resting play towers are. You can use what you have to build these and maybe make some money. They are simple to make and maybe you can make a little money for yourself.
