I did myself...and found a poem that I had posted on a site a long time ago.
If you googled yourself would there be anything there? Do you know for sure?

yeah, there'd be something there, but none of the info is actually on me! i've done it before, as well as, others who have googled my name. guess I just have a popular name...go figure!

If only you're a celebrity or are mentioned in some or the other site. I too got a poem of mine when I googled my name.

Yes. I had not tried it until recently when I ordered something off of eBay and the fella I ordered from googled my name and found out all this info about me and when I asked him how he knew all that info he told me he typed my name into google and thats what came up. I then tried it and sur enough a few things popped up. Scary!

Yup.. your name or other people who have similar names that have been posted up online would be there. Sometimes if your school have an online system, the your name would most likely be there. If you post your name online, then it would most probably be there.
So be careful when you type your name or give personal infomation especially on the internet.

Yes, I've googled myself as well as others I know. Popular or common names will give you thousands of hits.

yes... I work with some nonprofit organizations, so I'm mentioned on their web sites... also, I would find some of my forum submissions (considering web design, administration and other related subjects)
