Being absolutely alone. This is to be taken literally. I love being alone - *relatively* alone, that is (relatively distant, literally or metaphorically, from other people). But the idea that everything I perceive only exists within my mind, that my mind is the only thing that exists, i.e., that I am *God* is the most frightening idea I ever had. I once convinced myself of the idea (when I still thought it would be *good* to be God). At first, it made me ecstatic: I was God! However, only moments later it dawned on me that this meant I was *absolutely* alone - that there was nothing besides me, therefore no ground for consciousness. Then I felt I was going mad. That was the most frightening feeling I ever had. If there was a God in this sense, a God who was *all*, he would have to be mad. That God is mad is my *solution* to Nietzsche's "God is dead". If there was a God, he could not be dead, because God is immortal. If he felt he was *going* mad he would want to kill himself; but he could not. Therefore, he would go mad. But as he has always existed, he must have always been mad. To me, the movement of the universe is the spasm of a mad God.

My biggest fear is the extinction of the human race, whether it be by our own hands, or nature's. At times our demise seems so inevitable, every day I learn of new things humans have been doing to take ourselves out and it makes me fearful of having children. This isn't a world I want them to inherit; and yet, when I try to overcome my fear and take action, I am met with ignorance and hatred. People are so eager to discredit and disrespect one another...I hope my fear never becomes a reality, but the numbers are not in my favor.

it's not my biggest fear, becasue why would I tell anyone what that is? but one my great fears is loading my horse in a trailer. I've had many bad experiences, most of which i get seriously injured or almost killed, and I'm afraid that some day I'm not going to walk out out the trailer becasue I'll be trampled to a bloody pulp on the floor.

I was watchin some crap on tv and a big hot air balloon slammed into a like 400 foot radio tower and they had to climb down the tower. I couldnt even imagine being that high holding on for dear life onto that ladder. Im sorry, but heights scare the f*ck out of me

I'm actually not afraid of a lot of things... but I am terrified of the sound of cars coming up the road. I don't know why, but it does.
And spiders creep me out, too. Cool to look at in National Geographic, not so cool when they're thirteen inches away from your foot.

I am terrified of being burnt. Not just a blister from cooking, but horrible, scarring burns, that melt your features. Those people you see on Oprah who have been burnt on their faces and no amount of plactic surgery will ever restore their appearances, well they terrify me. I know it sounds bad, but I think I would rather die than try to live life all scared and deformed.

Having those creepy - crawly, smelly little things all in the house really freak me out thinking about it. Always crapping all over themselves and then wanting to eat even more. Wake you up in the middle of the night and sleep most of the day - babies really scare the hell out of me.
