New video card?

What sort of thing should i look for in a new video card? Is memory interface more important that clock interface? and what exactly do both of those mean anyway?
Also, ive got a PCI Express x16 so im assuming i would want the card to fit that right?
Could you suggest a good video card for under or close to $100?

ATI card with as much onboard vidram as you can afford.

on pci express try to find a 16 pixle pipe or more ati has some on clearance for about a $100 but i dont think you can get a 20 for a $100 yet
